Havn
Germany, Mainz
The ‘Havn am Rhein’ project is being developed in the new Zollhafen Mainz urban quarter, in the first row on the banks of the river Rhine. The U-shaped structure, which opens towards the Rhine, encloses an elevated garden with its three wings. Two wings of the building will contain 44 condominiums and one wing will contain 5 office units. A green roof garden with pergolas and an unobstructed view of the Rhine will be created for the residential units. In keeping with the historic harbour architecture, the street facade and both wings of the building will be clad in grey-green brick slips, while the building wing on the Rhine side with its curved balconies will have a pure white plaster facade.

Timber Peak
Germany, Mainz
The Timber Peak in the former customs port of Mainz is outstanding in many aspects. Its unique waterfront location and award-winning modern architecture make it the premier address on the Rhine. In one of the tallest timber-hybrid high-rises in Rhineland-Palatinate you can enjoy a panoramic view over the river and into the old town. Light-flooded workspaces that are as smart as they are cosy, combined with green roof terraces and a lively forecourt, create a completely new working atmosphere. The timber hybrid project Timber Peak on the grounds of former customs port will use about 900 m³ cross laminated timber and 150 m³ glued laminated timber for a total of approx. 9,500 m² gross floor area. The floor deck system of the twelve-storey building will be built as a wood-concrete composite with visible timber underside. It is supported by the reinforced concrete building core, while the load from the facade is transferred to visible timber columns.
