Martin Löcker, Member of the Management Board and COO of UBM Development AG, has informed the Supervisory Board that he is resigning from the Management Board prematurely, effective as of 30 June 2023.
He is stepping down on the most amicable terms with the Supervisory Board, his colleagues on the Management Board and the core shareholders. Martin Löcker explains: “After 14 unbelievably enthralling years in the role of Executive Director of Development and Technology at UBM, I will be writing a new chapter of my professional career and look forward to tackling new challenges. I am proud and grateful for what we have instigated and achieved together at UBM over the past 14 years. I have put my heart and soul into the company.”
Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Karl Heinz Strauss, expresses his thanks on behalf of the Supervisory Board and the company: “We thank Martin for his commitment and accomplishments in the positioning of UBM where it stands today. We regret his decision, but wish him all the very best for the future.”
Martin Löcker’s responsibilities will be handled on an interim basis by a team of several directors. The Management Board of UBM Development AG will therefore have 3 members as of 1 July 2023: Thomas G. Winkler, Chairman of the Board and CEO, Patric Thate as CFO and Martina Maly-Gärtner, COO.
