Start of construction for affordable living in Vienna Leopoldstadt
Vienna, 10 September 2020- The ground-breaking ceremony for the newest residential project Schweidlgasse 30-32/Bruno-Marek-Allee 20-24b in Vienna’s second district took place. In the middle of the trendy northern railway district, KIBB Immobilien GmbH and its partner UBM Development AG are building a total of 349 low-cost, privately financed rental apartments in six structures. The 2-4-room apartments with sizes between 45 and 120m² score points with flexible floor plans and modern equipment. The building project is complemented by a lively first floor zone with a mix of offices, pubs and retail space, as well as inviting open spaces, with the emphasis on generous green spaces. Completion is scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2022. The planning is being carried out by g.o.y.a Architekten, Eins Zu Eins Architektur and Köck Architekten. PORR Bau GmbH has been commissioned as general contractor.
