Munich, 15.12.2022. Andreas Thamm has informed the Managing Board of UBM that he will end his position as Chairman of the Managing Board of UBM Germany at the end of the year and leave the company.
“After two and a half intensive years in an environment marked by the pandemic and the Ukraine war, now is the right time to reorientate”, says Andreas Thamm. The Board regrets Andreas Thamm’s decision, but respects it and thanks him for his dedicated and successful work.
He will be replaced by Dr. Bertold Wild, who chaired the Management Board Germany for many years until Andreas Thamm’s appointment and who is therefore well known to many in and outside UBM. Dr. Wild has already taken up his position. This ensures that the transition of the agendas will be as seamless and quick as possible.
The Managing Board of UBM is pleased that it has been possible to win Dr. Wild for the new, old task.
