UBM Development Österreich GmbH stands for excellence in the development, planning, construction, financing and sale of real estate. The company was founded as Strauss & Partner Development GmbH in 2002 and has been a subsidiary of UBM Development AG since 2015. We see ourselves as project developers who create added value by bundling real estate know-how along the entire value chain. The expertise of UBM Development Österreich begins with the acquisition of land and extends up to the transfer of the finished property to the users. This broad range of services supports the realisation of synergies, provides partners and clients with uncomplicated advising and creates genuine customer satisfaction.

Our development activities are concentrated on the hotel, office and residential asset classes with a focus on Vienna. We are also active in the Austrian provinces through branches in Graz, Innsbruck and Salzburg.

One of our most outstanding projects involves the development and realisation of a new urban district, the Quartier Belvedere Central – also known as the QBC – at Vienna’s main railway station. Attractive office, hotel and residential properties will be created here on approximately 130,000 m² of gross floor space. Another top project is “Der Rosenhügel“, a unique combination of history and modernity which is under development on the grounds of a former film studio. This exclusive, idyllic green area has been chosen as the location for the development of over 200 apartments.
