- UBM Development Czechia increases its investment in the “Rezidence Na Plzence“ residential project from 50 to 100%

Vienna, 25.02.2025 – With 125 apartments sold in Prague, 2024 was a very successful year for UBM in the Czech Republic. In other words, apartment sales in the Czech capital topped UBM’s total apartment sales in 2023 – and the demand for high-quality apartments remains unbroken. UBM Czechia has therefore increased its investment in the “Rezidence Na Plzence“ residential project from 50 to 100%. “That represents a first step towards expansion“, explained Thomas G. Winkler, CEO of UBM Development AG. “The crisis in the residential market has bottomed out, and an upturn is now visible in all UBM markets.“
The “Rezidence Na Plzence“ project is located in the popular Smichov district and includes the development of 160 apartments with approximately 12,000 m2 of gross floor space in total and 122 underground parking spaces. This 3,850 m2 site is optimally connected with the local infrastructure through a nearby metro station as well as a tram stop directly on the doorstep. Construction and pre-sales have already started and completion is expected in Q2/2027.
